ComicCon Adventure with Free the Nipple: Interview with Anni Ma

Free the Nipple activism is creating new approaches to gender inequality. Take Anni Ma’s approach at ComicCon – she invited all the cosplayers who could legally be topless to take photos with her. The photos were nearly all of men – surprise! Yet, the photos were taken in public, shared on social media, and the men supporting equality were (finally!) shown as happy about it! Take that dominant narrative! Also, some male cosplayers taped over the “illegal” parts of their nipples on the spot – love that! We need this – for more men to begin view equality as a place their support is appreciated.
