To be vegan or vegan-ish, one must boycott animal products. From Wikipedia, “A boycott is an act of voluntarily abstaining from using, buying, or dealing with a person, organization”. Therefore, when one refuses to boycott animal products, for whatever reason, they’re not vegan – they’re flexitarian. What’s a flexitarian? From Wikipedia, “[someone who maintains] a diet that is plant-based with the occasional inclusion of meat products”. Nancy Naysayer Asks: “Well, isn’t it helpful that people claim to be vegan even when they knowingly eat meat?” No! Not helpful! For animals’ sake! Keep vegan meaning someone who boycotts animal products!
